I have a love for all things wild and natural: scented blossoms, mossy twigs, and starry nights. Flowers simply make my heart sing. I believe the magic of growing and gathering was planted in me years ago, as a young girl working alongside my mother, picking wildflowers and lily of the valley.
The way I create is deeply rooted in who I am: a floral designer, grower, and potter. My background in art has been a strong foundation for my floral work, as color, texture, composition, and design are threads that weave through all of my creative practices.
My deep connection to the natural surroundings of the Blue Ridge Mountains, along with the rhythms and cycles of my garden, creates an important link between the seasons and what each one offers for gathering and creating. I honor this connection through the farm-to-event movement in my floral work, thoughtfully growing, gathering, and designing with what the land and season have to offer.
